Health & Safety
The health and safety of our staff and joiners is of paramount importance and Lol Summers Joinery continues to review and enhance its on-site and in-workshop safe working practices.

The company and its staff are obliged to meet those standards laid out in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and regularly provide Risk Assessments and Method Statements as part of the initial planning process for new projects.

All staff attending site are trained in site safety and emergency procedures, including the handling of hazardous substances associated with the joinery industry. At least one member of the on-site staff is always trained and designated as the Fire Safety and First Aid Officer for the company team.

All joiners working on site are accredited through the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and are supplied with, and required to wear, full Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): hard hat, safety boots, fluorescent jacket or vest, glasses or goggles.
